Psyduck (Water) - A standout from the original series of the anime and Detective Pikachu, this Water-type is another great option as your partner Pokémon.Įevee (Normal) - If you want a versatile Pokémon that's absolutely adorable, Eevee is the right choice for this adventure. Meowth (Normal) - If you want to relive a quirky team-up from the Pokémon anime, consider Meowth and Pikachu!
Squirtle (Water) - Rounding out the trio of Kanto starters is the Water-type Squirtle, who is a great complementary Pokémon with the games' hilarious dialogue. Charmander (Fire) - The first evolution to Charizard is definitely a fan-favorite, and Fire-type is a great start if you want to tank through some early dungeons.
